The 3rd China International Auto Parts Expo is held in Beijing

The 3^rd China International Auto Parts Expo or CIAPE 2009 will be held from 24^th to 26^th September 2009 in China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Holding CIAPE is an important measure to implement the State Council policies of expanding domestic demand, maintaining growth rate and stabilizing export and the Adjustment & Revitalization Plan for the Auto Industry. It is also an important means adopted for the change of foreign trade growth mode.

China International Auto Parts Expo.(CIAPE 2009) is the only state-level international and professional auto parts exhibition approved by the Chinese government. China International Auto Parts Expo is held on the principles of marketization, specialization and internationalization. The mode of organizing this exposition has been so reformed by the Ministry of Commerce in accordance with the requirements of the State Council to guide the self-initiated development of the exhibition industry. China General Technology (Group) Holding Limited or Genertec for short has been selected to be the organizer of the Expo and 47 Chinese and foreign automotive industry associations and enterprise groups act as the co-organizers or supporters of the mega event. CIAPE has been successfully held for two years, and has won world-wide attention and high recognition in both the domestic and the global automotive industry.

CIAPE 2009 is held in the old venue of China International Exhibition Center for 3 days, with a floor area of 70, 000 square meters. There are 1255 well-known auto parts companies as exhibitors, including Bosch, Denso, Bridgestone, Royal Dutch Shell Group, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation(Group), Faw Group Corporation, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group Co., Ltd., Wanfeng Auto Holding Group. The exhibits cover the complete automotive industry chain ranging from engine system, steering system, chassis system, braking system, automotive electronics, accessories to repairing, testing and car caring equipment etc. In addition, China’s domestic automobile brands and new energy vehicles from Great Wall Motor Company Limited, Chery, Geely etc. are also on display.

In addition, the 3^rd CIAPE has also attracted suppliers from 19 countries and regions to attend as exhibitors such as China, the USA, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Israel, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Malaysia and China Taiwan, etc.. Over 3600 international trade visitors from 126 countries and regions attend the show, with a wider range, greater purchasing power and more professional expertise.

The activities during CIAPE 2009 are more practical than ever. China International Auto Parts Expo. Summit Forums and International Conference on Major Policies and Regulations of Major Overseas Automobile Markets is continuously sponsored by the 12 national export bases for automobiles and parts, and supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission. The Forum presents to the key automobile and parts manufacturers free of charge the industry policies, and regulations about market entry, technical and legal requirements as well as product certification policies of some major overseas automobile markets. The event is aimed at providing information for Chinese companies to tap the international market. Also, a series of matchmaking meetings and seminars will be held during CIAPE 2009.

In addition, during CIAPE 2009, the well-know organization, Specialty Equipment Market Association(SEMA) displays the latest tuning car concept and the most advanced equipment to lead the innovation trend by holding a large-scale Tuning Car Salon. This will produce positive influences on the innovation of the Chinese automobile market, personalized consumption concept, and differentiated demands as well as on the sectors of production, circulation, and management.
