Mr. Mario Fiems, Exhibitions Director of COMEXPOSIUM, and representatives of Promosalons China visited the Organizing Committee of CIAPE and exchanged views on cooperation of both sides on 20th-23rd, June.
COMEXPOSIUM, as the host of EQUIP AUTO in France, is created through an alliance between Comexpo and Exposium in January, 2008. The new COMEXPOSIUM Exhibition Group, as one of the biggest exhibition companies in the world, is greatly looking forward to cooperating with an authoritative exhibition of China compared with its low-pitched behavior in the past 10 years.
Early in the operation of the first CIAPE last year, Mr. Mario has shown his great interest in the exclusive state-level platform and discussed with Chinese side on cooperation for 3 times in France and Beijing. Mr. Mario explained the reason of postpone of cooperation because of the merge of two big exhibition companies. Now, the new COMEXPOSIUM will launch the strategic cooperation with CIPAE in an all-round way.
The responsible person of CIAPE firstly expressed his welcome to French guests and then introduced the latest preparation work of CIAPE in details. He said that the successful achievements of CIAPE last year received common recognition and active comments from both exhibitors and visitors. The Organizing Committee has already enhanced publicity around the world and held promotion activities in more than 10 countries this year. The list are: Hanoverian of Germany, Stuttgart, Washington, and and Detroit in USA, London of England, Tokyo of Japan, Seoul of Korea, New Delhi of India, Hong Kong of China, Kyiv of Ukraine, Brno of Czech, and Toronto of Canada. Meanwhile, more than 150 Chinese embassies and over 70 cooperative organizations around the world are actively assisting in promoting the exhibition. In addition, with the enter of 6 associations such as Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), SAE International (SAE), Automotive Industrial Action Group (AIAG), and Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA), the global cooperative network of CIAPE is still enhancing.
In reply of the composition of domestic exhibiting enterprises, the responsible person of CIAPE told it is stimulated that the Chinese exhibiting enterprises should meet with the following two requirements to guarantee the size and quality of CIAPE: A. Annual domestic sales volume of RMB10 million minimum; or an annual export volume of US$ 1million or above; B. No records of breach of laws such as infringement of Intellectual Property Rights and trade fraud practices. The French side appreciated it very much since the authority of CIAPE as well as the interest of exhibitors and buyers are fully ensured.
Mr. Mario expressed that he highly spoke of CIAPE after visiting CIAPE last year and made an appraisal report. The cooperation will reach its climax with the increase of exhibition project in the Chinese market against the general environment. As for the merged COMEXPOSIUM, one of its strategic target is to strengthen the cooperation with other areas especially in terms of the strong projects. The partner they are seeking for is the top two ranking exhibition projects and CIAPE is the right choice. He said that the cooperation between both sides should be more intensive and extensive on the basis of COMEXPOSIUM with many years of professional exhibition experience, rich client resources and prominent recognition and CIAPE which is highly characterized with China's auto parts industry and right direction. More professional buyers will be brought to each sides and both sides' brand will be advanced through the cooperation.
Both sides reached agreements on strategic cooperation that besides cooperation in CIAPE, both sides will push ahead our cooperation in a comprehensive, extensive and multi-level direction and will explore new projects with each other's advantages.
